W.I.S.E stands for Wise Individuals Sharing Experience. It is a voluntary mentorship programme for Raizcorp companies. Raizcorp realises that there are many individuals who would like to volunteer their expertise to emerging entrepreneurs, and the WISE programme is an ideal method for WISE mentors to be matched with suitable entrepreneurs.

WISE mentors are also referred to as Technical Mentors as they are often matched with those Raizcorp companies that have the same technical background.

Once the WISE mentor has been approved, they are then matched with a particular Raizcorp company or two and the relationship is subsequently developed independently by the two.

As a Raizcorp company you will receive valuable experience and mentoring from these WISE mentors.

Can anyone be a WISE mentor?

If you are over 30 with a speciality or significant experience in a particular field then you may become a WISE mentor

Does the WISE mentor programme run throughout South Africa?

For now the programme only runs in Greater Johannesburg and in Durban.

How much time will it take?

This is completely up to you and your Mentor company to arrange. We recommend a minimum of once a month.

Do I have to meet at the Company’s premises?

Once again this is totally up to you and the Raizcorp company to arrange.

Do I get paid for my time?

No, this is a 100% volunteer programme.
